Observing orcas under any circumstance is always special, but it’s a definite treat to watch them play with one another! Today we watched members of three transient orca families staying at the surface for elongated periods of time spyhopping, tail slapping and displaying half breaches. On our way back to the dock we spotted serval harbor seals hidden in the kelp beds as well as bald eagles and Canada Geese making a sleek exit out of the water and onto dry land.
