Very cool encounter with some of J and K pods. While watching a couple different groups of clumped up whales, a massive cargo ship went by. We watched with baited breath as the wave got closer and closer to the whales. Would they surf it? Oh YES! They surfed!!! Pretty much all at the same time they caught the same wave and off they went. It was just incredible to see and my photos do not do it justice.
