Today was one of the hottest days of the year and what better way to spend the day then on the water with some amazing wildlife. We spend the afternoon with part of J-Pod including Granny (J2) who was in the lead, followed by big male Mike (J26). Slick (J16), Echo (J42) and spunky little Scarlet (J50) were not far behind. Scarlet was being her spunky self and mixed traveling with some tail lobs and pectoral slaps. With an ebbing tide, we were able to see lots of Harbor Seals hauled out and on our way back to Friday Harbor we saw a beautiful bald eagle as well as some Harbor Porpoise in Spieden Channel.
