September 11, 2025 – We had a report of Bigg’s killer whales moving north on the west side of San Juan Island. We made a couple stops to check out some harbor seals and search for other wildlife in Boundary pass. After spending some time searching we made our way over to Spieden Channel where we met up with T60D and T60E .These two brothers have dispersed from the rest of their family and spend time traveling on their own. Once we got near Green Point on Spieden Island, they both began moving quickly in different directions indicating they may be on a hunt. We were not able to get confirmation that they successfully caught something but we saw many harbor seals hanging out on the shoreline. We stayed with them a bit longer as they travelled around Spieden Island.
