May 28, 2024 –Another day, another incredible encounter with the Bigg’s Killer Whale family known as the T124As. They seem to really like Oak Bay on Henry Island because we have seen them there several times in the past couple of weeks and it seems to be their favorite spot for a meal. They made two confirmed harbor seal kills today with us witnessing a large blood bubble surfacing and then T124A4 “Sabio” surfaced with a live harbor seal in her mouth! Her two kids and younger siblings trailed closely behind her, all trying to participate. After they finished off the seal, the family spent some time eating and we got a fun little spyhop from one of the younger whales. Such a fun family!
