We had a beautiful, flat and calm journey out from San Juan Island on the Western Explorer II. We enjoyed the return of some Steller sea lions to the area and harbor seals before continuing west. We traveled out to Race Rocks to spend the morning with the T46B family, a group of marine mammal feeding killer whales. We enjoyed them while they socialized, swimming upside down and circling the area, with the picturesque Olympics as the backdrop.
