September 1, 2025 – As we cruise into shoulder season, we’ve continued to have excellent sightings of animals. We headed north with a report of killer whales. We crossed into the Canadian Gulf Islands and had a lovely encounter with the T75B family group. This family is comprised of mom and her four children, the newest one just about a month old! The littlest one was tucked close to her mother as the whales swam north into Samson Narrows treating us to some traveling behavior as well as some surface activity. It was a long run, but well worth the extra miles!
