Today was EPIC! We took a bit of a gamble and headed south on a long run towards a group of Bigg’s Killer Whales (mammal feeding) coming out of Puget Sound. It paid off hugely! Flat calm water (contrary to forecast), sunny skies, and a large group of playful whales. Looks like we had the T49As, T123s, T65As, T65Bs, and probably T49C. Who could ask for more? That is the Western Prince II in the background viewing at 200 yards. (All images taken with a zoom lens and cropped.) *Additional Photos from Naturalist Katie!
