We started our day with a report of Bigg’s (transient) Killer whales north of San Juan Island in the Canadian Gulf islands. With our speed and range we were able to get up into the area to watch these incredible animals, making a few stops to see Bald eagles, Steller sea lions, and Harbor seals.  There were two matriarchs and their offspring present, T77s and the T75Bs. The moms and smaller kids were mainly in a travel mode, while the older male in the group and another younger animal were goofing around a bit. We followed them along the Saltspring island shoreline for a bit before heading back to Friday Harbor.
