Twelve Killer Whales!

Twelve Killer Whales!

May 27, 2024 – We headed north into Canadian waters to check out the Java rocks and then continued up into the Strait of Georgia where we had a report of two killer whales. It ended up being a brother/sister duo, T137A “Jack” and his younger sister T137D “Wright”. They two were traveling and very sporadically coming up. After some time with them, we suddenly got another report of 10 whales only a few miles to the west of us! It ended up being two families, the T124As and the T123s. This group had it all! A newborn calf, several younger whales ranging in age from three to ten, a few adult moms and of course, the large adult male T123 “Stanley”! An excellent day on the water!
