Western Explorer AM: September 8, 2016

Some days just take your breath away. This mornings trip was no exception! We got to hang with part of Lpod just south of San Juan island. The first whale we saw was Crewser, L92. Something caught our attention though, and that was a pretty active group just ahead. We slowly made our way to parallel this group and we were all amazed that the activity continued. We saw lots of breaching from L91, “Muncher”. We also saw spyhops, tail lobs, upside down tail lobs, and porpoising. Beautiful morning on the water with these incredible animals.
