July 16, 2025 – We had beautiful conditions for our trip today, and that was much appreciated, as we had to go quite far to the west into the Strait of Juan De Fuca to get to the whales. We caught up with a family of Bigg’s Killer Whales known as the T75s. This family is an interesting combination as T75 “Kidney” and her adult son T75A “Stone” often travel together, but “Kidney’s” youngest daughter T75C “Bam Bam” and grandson T75C3 “Flint” have also been traveling with them for the past few weeks. The family was grouped and traveling consistently. We had some lovely looks at all the whales before heading back to the San Juan Islands.
