What a day!! Sunny, hot, whales and wildlife and it is only April!! Fun day with Katie, Peter, Sarah, and the T99’s and T36A’s (ID’s thanks to Katie). We ventured far out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The seas were glassy calm. When we got to the whales we were able to cut our engines and watch the whales surface in a small area. They changed direction often, but really did not move more that 100 yards in 30-40 minutes. Great Steller Sea Lions and Eagles on the way back to Friday Harbor.
