Fantastic encounter with Bigg’s Killer whales! The T2Cs!

Our whale watch trip start with fantastic news even before we left the dock in Friday Harbor, a group of Bigg’s Killer Whales (also known as Transient Orcas), the T2C’s had been spotted! Off we went, heading north and just after leaving Friday Harbor, we came across a beautiful bald eagle. Our next stop was with a large group of harbor seals. We the caught up with the T2C’s and got to watch these amazing animals for almost an hour. At one point we even saw T2C1 also known as “Rocky” do at least 5 belly rolls!!! Rounding out our trip, we stopped at Mandarte Island a seabird nest colony with a lot of activity this time of year.
