Western Prince II PM: September 15, 2016

This afternoon we had a great encounter with a large number of Southern Resident Orcas, almost all of J-Pod. We had to journey all the way into Canada to Point Roberts, an enclave of the US, and it was absolutely worth it! The weather was beautiful and we had at least 15 members of J-Pod, including grown males Blackberry (J27), Onyx (L87) and J34 (Doublestuf). It was a very special treat to be able to spend time with such a big and tight group of Southern Residents.
