The Southern Resident Killer Whales that we saw that day included L94 – Calypso, a 21 year old female. She was traveling with her youngest of two calves L121- Windsong, who was born in February of 2015. Later we saw L85 – Mystery, a 25 year old male. He did two fabulous breaches just before we left the whales. Topping off our adventure with the bow riding Dall’s porpoise was fantastic. This was the best encounter I have had with these animals in a few years!! The perfect end to another great day on the water.
