We started our morning with no sightings, which turned into Bigg’s (transient) Killer whales being reported far away to the south. We didn’t know if we would get there or not, but we set off to the area as quick as we could. It was a long run in beautiful conditions and we were able to catch up with the T65As and the T37As! We were in these wonderful rolling seas which the orcas seemed to like. We got there just as they finished making a kill and got to see some tail lobs, a couple breaches, and a spyhop! A Beautiful ride back to Friday Harbor with some looks at Harbor Seals and seabirds along the way!
