What a memorable day on the Western Explorer II! We had a late afternoon report of marine family feeding killer whales and were able to go the extra distance! From Friday Harbor, we traveled well into Canada to watch the T65A family just as they began hunting. They circled the area, likely sharing a harbor seal among family members. They seemed to have some extra calories to burn as they breached and spy hopped before carrying about their day.
