Kate grew up in sunny Southern California where she fell in love with the ocean and all the life it has to offer. Pursuing the study of such wildlife brought her to Seattle, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from the University of Washington. She fell in love with the San Juan Islands on a kayak camping trip when she saw Killer Whales for the very first time! She can’t wait to share the magic of the San Juan Islands with you!!
