August 24, 2026– We were treated to beautiful blue skies this morning, and a report of whales across the border in the Canadian Gulf Islands! We started our morning headed north up San Juan Channel, where we made our first stop at Sentinel Reef and found a haul out of harbor seals! After a nice look we continued west and met up with the T46B’s, a large family of 9 killer whales. After a really nice chunk of time with these whales, we heard of another report and decided to make a quick stop to see T49A2, a lone bull who has dispersed from him family.
