Sea Otter and the T99s

Sea Otter and the T99s

July 3, 2026– We started off a productive trip with a trip to Turn Reef, where we found Alfredo the sea otter! After a good look at him, we started searching northward up the channel. While we were searching, we received a report of animals in east sound, so we made a hard turn into wasp passage to investigate! We were lucky enough to find a group of killer whales just off of Rosario, and that group turned out to be the T099s! We got a fantastic look at the group socializing and travelling together down the sound, until we eventually had to move on. We continued searching down south, and went to Whale Rocks to see a haul out of Steller sea lions! The boys gave us a great display of their power as they tussled in the water. On our way home, we made one last stop to see a group of harbor seals!
