August 2, 2026– We started our morning heading south down San Juan Channel, and made a brief stop at Whale Rocks to see a bald eagle and a haul-out of Steller sea lions! The boys gave us a nice show before we continued on south. Out in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, we found T137A “Jack” swimming along with several other killer whales! We spent a nice chunk of time with those animals before we had to turn and start heading north back home. On our way back, we lucked out with not one, but two humpbacks on the south end of Lopez Island! They both gave us several nice flukes before we had to return to the docks.
