Orcas Island Circumnavigation

Orcas Island Circumnavigation

July 12, 2026– On this day, we were blessed with some blue skies and beautiful wildlife! We started our morning at Turn Reef, where we spotted Alfredo the sea otter giving himself a nice bath while wrapped up in the bull kelp! We then pushed west to Cypress Island, where we saw a number of Steller sea lions on a can! After a look at those boys, we pushed north to follow up on a report of killer whales, and found the T123’s! We spent a nice chunk of time with this beautiful family before we eventually had to wave goodbye. We turned east and made a couple stops on the north side of Orcas Island on our way home to see harbor seals and an eagle, then eventually returned home to the docks!
