July 11, 2026– Even though there’s no 7/11 here on San Juan Island, we still got to enjoy a taste of a T party with some Bigg’s killer whales! We started our morning at Turn Reef, where we got to float around with Alfredo the sea otter before we made our way north up San Juan Channel. Then, we continued up to the north side of Spieden Island to see a harbor seal haul out! Eventually, we made our way out west to meet up with several killer whale families in Haro Strait. On our way home, we got a look at the south side of Spieden Island, and got a look at some mouflon sheep and a bald eagle!
