July 20, 2026 11am trip – We started our trip by making our way around the north side of San Juan Island over to Haro Strait, where we spent time with 2 beautiful humpbacks. They both appeared to be adults, but one was fluking every dive while the other had not shown its fluke yet. While we were getting our last looks in, we were blessed with both whales fluking right next to eachother. It was a beautiful last look before continuing our adventure. There were a lot of waterways that had not been searched yet today, so after spending time with the humpback whales, we continued our search for more wildlife. We went up past Turn Point lighthouse on Stuart Island and then made our way through Boundary Pass over to the lighthouse on Patos Island. We ended our trip with a cruise through President’s channel back down to Friday Harbor.
