Otter, Sea Lions, and Orcas, Oh My!

Otter, Sea Lions, and Orcas, Oh My!

May 16, 2026– Today was another very special day on the water! The wildlife stayed quite close today, our trip was only 28 miles total! We went on a short run down San Juan Channel to Turn Rock where we found a very uncommon resident of the islands, a sea otter! After hanging out with him for a bit, we continued south to Cattle Pass where we met up with the T49As (Nan, Nat, Neptune, Nebula, Charlie II, Nimbus)! These guys gave us some great looks in front of the lighthouse, and we got to see the newest addition to the family, T49A7 “Nimbus”! We continued down to Whale Rocks to see the haul out of Steller sea lions, and one had climbed all the way to the top! Eventually we moved on to travel up north once again, and had a spectacular encounter with the T90s (Eagle, Tigger, Piglet, Kanga) and T124A4’s (Sabio, Strix, and Sabine).
