August 3, 2026– On this morning, we started heading down San Juan Channel and made our first stops at Deadman’s and Whale Rocks to see a pair of eagles and a haul out of Steller sea lions! We continued down south into the Strait of Juan de Fuca and ended up with 5 killer whales, which turned out to be the T100s and T101s! We spent a really nice chunk of time with this group as they travelled all together, before we eventually had to make the turn and start heading towards home. On the way back, we stopped at Goose Island and saw a couple of cute little harbor seals catching some rays, and finally at Turn Reef we saw a couple of oyster catchers!
