September 3, 2026 PM – Today we ended up circumnavigating San Juan Island. Our first ...

September 5, 2026– Happy Sister Saturday! This morning, Captain Bethany took us down south to Turn Reef to check on Alfredo the sea otter, then out to Salmon Bank to search. We ended up turning up a minke whale, who was lunge feeding on a bait ball! After a nice look at this lady, we turned back toward San Juan Channel and stopped at whale rocks to see a haul out of steller sea lions. We then continued into Upright Channel and were on scene with the T19’s! We watched this family navigate the inter-island waters like professionals, but eventually had to wave goodbye and return home!
